All Property Modifications Require Advanced Approval

Common projects requiring approval include, but are not limited to: roof/shingle replacement, fence replacement or staining, exterior painting, pools, outdoor kitchen construction, garage door replacement, and major interior remodeling that involves moving existing walls. A list of acceptable roof shingle types and colors is available on TownSq in the "News & Events" Tab, titled "Property Modification Guidance". An Architectural Review should be submitted electronically using the TownSq app. Failure to submit plans for Architectural Review will result in substantial fines. Many projects (including interior remodels, HVAC replacement, water heater replacement, fence replacement, solar panels, concrete work, and electrical & gas line work) require a building permit from the City of North Richland Hills as well. Candidates for Architectural Review Committee Needed

The Board is seeking applicants to volunteer to fill 1 slot on the Architectural Review Committee for our HOA. This committee receives all homeowner requests for property modifications via email alerts from TownSq. They then review submitted documents from homeowners about desired changes (e.g. re-roofing, fence replacement, painting exterior trim, temporary trailer parking for remodeling projects, etc.). They use our governing documents and ACC policies to determine if the requested changes are in compliance and then approve or deny requests accordingly.

The ideal candidate should be able to access their email on a daily basis to check for new requests and have the ability to review the request in a timely manner. The candidate must agree to follow our Governing documents when making determinations. They will also have 2 other experienced ARC member to consult with for advice and discussion.
